Privately owned, Animal Hospital coastal mid MI (coastal Lake Michigan/50 miles north of Midland) is a three doctor, small animal/exotics practice seeking another Associate Veterinarian. Very progressive practice that is Fear Free Certified, AAHA Certified and is one of few veterinary hospitals that sees avian patients. Sees about 10% avian/exotic animals. Has a number of LVTs on staff and owner is very committed to a positive culture. Actively promote leadership training for the staff and really strive to promote a positive work environment. Owner very excited about veterinary medicine and is consistently striving to improve both the medical, diagnostic and surgical care of the hospital patients. Works hand in hand with MSU to assist with rotating students through community practice. Owner really enjoys mentoring and consulting with newer graduates. Practice has ultrasound, digital xray, digital dental xray, ECG, BP. Offering more complex medicine and surgery cases. Offering rehab medicine. Four day work week is full time. 8-5
