What You’ll Do (d(
- Gather patient histories and support appointments
- Assist with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Perform radiology, lab work, and in-house diagnostics (IDEXX)
- Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and administer injections (SQ, IM, IV)
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgery
- Educate clients on treatments, medications, and at-home care
- Maintain accurate medical records (Cornerstone experience a plus)
- Provide compassionate care to a variety of patients including dogs, cats, birds, and pocket pets
What We’re Looking For
- RVT experience or completion of a technician/assistant program
- New graduates encouraged and supported
- A positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
- Interest in developing skills and potentially stepping into leadership
- Strong communication skills and a passion for client education
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time (32+ hours/week)
- 8-hour shifts
- Some evenings required
- 2 Saturdays per month
- No overnight or emergency shifts
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00 – $24.00/hour (negotiable based on experience)
