Board-Certified Internal Medicine Specialist or Residency-Trained Clinician – San Gabriel Valley, CA

An independently owned specialty and emergency hospital in Southern California is looking to welcome a board-certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist (DACVIM) or residency-trained clinician to its team.

This practice is intentionally structured to support advanced medicine, provide true clinical independence, and foster a professional, team-oriented environment. With a well-established referral network and steady case volume, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a wide spectrum of complex internal medicine cases with the resources and support to do your best work.

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee and treat complex canine and feline internal medicine cases
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound and endoscopy
  • Create and manage treatment plans for both hospitalized and outpatient cases
  • Maintain clear communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians
  • Partner closely with ER doctors and the broader clinical team

Qualifications

  • DACVIM (SAIM) preferred or residency-trained
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in California
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic ability, and interpersonal communication skills
