Veterinary Hospital (Cookeville, TN/ hour east of Nashville). • Seven doctor, full service facility. General medicine and surgery cases. Seeking an additional ER Associate Veterinarian for either Overnight or 2nd Shift ICU Veterinarian – Prefer experienced. Ideal schedule: Overnights 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday) with no weekend shifts or 2nd shift (noon – 10pm) Fully equipped with complete in house lab equipment, ultrasound, Tonopen, ECG, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, surgical suite, and CT coming soon. Licensed Veterinary Technicians, numerous veterinary assistants, other support staff, and supportive administration. Typical day would be: managing a light overnight ER caseload on a walk-in basis, with an average of around 10 hospitalized cases in ICU.
Rounding on patients, updating clients, and maintaining patient vitals. Working alongside a dedicated overnight technician and have an on-call technician available for surgeries.
