What You’ll Love About This Role:
- 4-day work week (4x10s)
- No on-call, overnight, or weekend shifts
- $130K–$170K base salary, depending on experience
- Up to $20K annual bonus (not productivity-based — just for staying!)

How You’ll Make an Impact:
You’ll spend the majority of your time in our full-service clinic seeing appointments and performing surgery — with some support at nearby spay/neuter centers or shelter medical programs depending on needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform surgeries including spay/neuter, mass removals, hernia repairs, and dental extractions
- Provide medical exams and treatments for client and shelter animals
- Help guide decisions around animal care and disposition in collaboration with support staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and controlled substance logs
- Deliver excellent client communication and follow-up care
- Stay current on the latest treatment protocols and best practices
Additional Duties (as needed):
- Rotate through high-quality/high-volume spay/neuter clinic
- Provide exams/treatments to shelter animals at nearby facilities
- Collaborate with shelter leadership on animal behavior and welfare
- Transport animals occasionally using company vehicles (valid license/insurance required)
What You’ll Bring:
- DVM and active California veterinary license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting (newer grads with strong interest are welcome to inquire)
- Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork
- Proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office
