Are you passionate about high-quality medicine and interested in working with both companion animals and exotics? Our hospital, located just north of Salt Lake City in beautiful Davis County, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our well-respected, community-loved team.

We’ve proudly served the region for over 30 years, earning a reputation as a trusted provider for both general and advanced care—including avian and exotic medicine. In fact, we’re home to one of Utah’s only board-certified avian specialists, and about 50% of our patients are exotics.


About the Practice

We are a modern, full-service small animal and exotics hospital, equipped to practice the gold standard of care. Our facility includes:

  • Digital radiology and digital dental radiography
  • Ultrasound and in-house laboratory
  • CT imaging
  • Dedicated surgical and exam spaces tailored to a diverse patient base

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dedicated, team-oriented DVM who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident (or excited to learn) working with avian, exotic, and companion animals. New grads with a strong interest in exotics are encouraged to apply—we are happy to support your continued development.

Typical schedule is 40 hours/week with shared abbreviated Saturday shifts. We’re closed Sundays and do not handle after-hours emergencies, helping maintain a healthy work-life balance.


Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Licensed (or able to become licensed) to practice in Utah
  • Experience or strong interest in avian and exotic medicine preferred

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience, including:

  • Base salary: $110,000 to $140,000
  • Signing bonus and relocation assistance ($15,000–$30,000)
