SPCA located inside of Spotsylvania County, VA (50 miles south of DC) is seeking an experienced Veterinarian for a leadership position.This role focuses primarily on the medical care of animals in SPCA custody, including shelter management, outpatient care and high-volume spay/neuter services.
Seeking a full time Veterinarian but schedule can be flexible. (current Veterinarian doing 3×12 hour shifts). No weekends, no ER requirements. Facility is fully equipped with digital xray, digital dental, dentistry equipment, complete in house lab eqipment and anesthetic monitoring. Fully intubate and monitor each anesthetic patient. Good mix of outpatient, shelter and surgical patient cases. Offers competitive salary, relocation and student loan repayment.
